Short answer: 25. That’s the minimum age to rent any car from SuperFastWheel — Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, or a comfortable sedan. One rule, every car, no exceptions and no grey zone.
Now the longer answer, because “you’re too young” is frustrating to hear without a reason.
Why 25? It’s not about you. It’s about the maths.
A rental company doesn’t set age limits because it doubts your driving. It sets them because its insurer does. Here’s the chain:
Our fleet is made up of high-value cars — supercars, ultra-luxury saloons, performance SUVs. If a 22-year-old bins a Huracán, the repair bill can run into six figures — and the statistics say younger drivers crash more often. Insurers price that risk, and below 25 the numbers stop working: the premium for covering under-25s in cars like these is so high that no rental company can absorb it and stay in business.
So the age rule isn’t a judgement. It’s the point where the insurance maths breaks. That’s why we keep it simple and apply it across the whole fleet — one clear line, no car-by-car arguments at the counter.
This is standard across Dubai’s luxury rental market, not just with us. If a company offers you a 720S at 21 with no questions asked, be suspicious — either the insurance isn’t real, or the “deposit” they’re about to block on your card is enormous.
One rule, no grey zone
Some companies run tiered systems — 21 for standard cars, 23 or 25 for supercars. We don’t. At SuperFastWheel the minimum is 25 for every car we rent, whether it’s a Phantom or a 3 Series.
Why no tiers? Because our fleet starts where most companies’ “premium” tier ends. There is no economy car to drop the age on — and a single clear rule means you never arrive to a surprise. If you’re 25 or over with a valid licence, every car in the fleet is open to you. If you’re under 25, the answer is the same for all of them — and the section below is for you.
Under 25? Here’s what you can do
The rule is firm, but you’re not out of options.
Ride instead of drive. Our chauffeur service has no age requirement for passengers — you don’t need to be 25 to sit in the back of a Ghost. If the dream is arriving somewhere in a Phantom for one special evening, a chauffeur-driven booking gets you the experience without the licence requirement. This is the most popular route for under-25s, and honestly, for a wedding or a big night out, it’s the better experience anyway.
Get your paperwork ready now. When you turn 25, the only thing that should stand between you and the keys is a booking. Sort your International Driving Permit before you fly — visitors with many licence countries need one alongside their home licence, and we have a full IDP guide — and build clean driving history. A 25-year-old with five years of clean licence history gets a smoother yes than a 25-year-old with a licence issued last month.
Message us anyway. Tell us your age and what you’re planning on WhatsApp. We’ll tell you straight what’s possible — chauffeur options, timing, and exactly what to have ready for your 25th.
Documents you’ll need (at 25+)
- Passport (visitors) or Emirates ID (residents).
- Driving licence. Visitors: a licence from an approved country, or your home licence plus an International Driving Permit (IDP). We’ve got a full guide on the IDP rules — read it before you fly, because this is the document that actually stops bookings.
- Credit card in the renter’s name, for the deposit block.
The deposit is worth understanding: it’s blocked, not charged — the money never leaves your account — and it’s released within 15–21 working days after you return the car. The amount varies by car; we’ll confirm it on WhatsApp before you book so there are no surprises.
The experience question
Age isn’t the only filter. Most companies also look at how long you’ve held your licence — typically at least a year, sometimes more for the faster cars. A 26-year-old with a licence issued last month can have a harder time than a 30-year-old who’s been driving clean for a decade. If your licence is fresh, mention it when you message us; we’ll tell you straight what that means for your options.
The two-minute eligibility check
Don’t guess. Message us on WhatsApp with three things — your age, your licence country (and how long you’ve held it), and the car you want — and we’ll tell you in minutes whether it’s a yes or which route we’d recommend instead. It’s free, it’s fast, and it beats arriving in Dubai to a “no.”

FAQs
Can a 21-year-old rent a Ferrari in Dubai?
Not from us — our minimum age is 25 for every car in the fleet, Ferrari included. If you’re under 25, a chauffeur-driven booking is the way to experience the car.
Why is the minimum age 25 for supercars in Dubai?
Insurance. The insurer’s risk maths for young drivers in very fast, very expensive cars doesn’t work below 25, so rental companies set the line there. It’s an industry-wide rule, not a single company’s policy.
What is the minimum age to rent any car in Dubai?
At SuperFastWheel it’s 25 — one rule for the whole fleet, no tiers. (Age rules vary across the wider Dubai market; ours is 25 flat.)
Do I need an International Driving Permit to rent a car in Dubai?
It depends on your licence country. Visitors with licences from many countries need an IDP alongside their home licence. Check our IDP guide — or just message us your licence country on WhatsApp and we’ll confirm.
I’m 24. Is there any flexibility on the age rule?
No — 25 is the line, with no grey zone or discretionary exceptions. The alternative is a chauffeur-driven booking, which has no age requirement for passengers.
Is the deposit higher for younger renters?
Our deposit is always blocked (not charged) and released in 15–21 working days; the amount varies by car and we’ll confirm it on WhatsApp before you book.
Can I rent a luxury car at 20 in Dubai?
Not self-drive — our minimum is 25. At 20, a chauffeur-driven booking is the way to experience the car without meeting the self-drive age requirement.
